October 4, 2016 Global Communities’ Agribusiness Investment for Market Stimulation (AIMS) program in partnership with Kenya Dairy Farmers Federation (KDFF) convened a Business to Business forum in Eldoret where over 70 buyers and sellers in the livestock value chains participated. The participants, who came from as far as Bungoma County, were drawn from input manufacturers, Business Development Service Providers(BDSP), Banks(Family Bank & Housing Finace Cooperation Bank), processors, producer organizations, insurance firms, University of Eldoret Department of Livestock and other entrepreneurs in the industry.

The event provided a good platform for information sharing & advisory in the livestock value chain. Speaking during the event, the KDFF CEO, Mr. Bett stated with enthusiasm, the need to have such B2B forums in the region to bridge market gaps in livestock value chain .“If such forums can be held on a regular basis then farmers will find potential market for their products”
